How It Works

From your photos to a one-of-a-kind masterpiece

Step 1 Photo Submission
Step 1

Photo Submission

After your order is confirmed, we'll invite you to send us photos of your pet and tell us a little about them. We'll carefully select the best reference images to capture the details that make them unique. Clear photos with natural lighting are especially helpful, as they allow us to better see your pet's true colors, markings, and expression while bringing them to life in our artistic style.

Step 2 Base and Structure
Step 2

Starting with the Base and Structure

Each replica begins with a carefully sculpted wool core that serves as the foundation for the piece. This initial structure helps establish the overall shape and proportions before the finer details are added. Depending on the pose and design, some replicas may include a lightweight wire armature for extra support, while others are crafted entirely from wool from the inside out.

Step 3 Eyes and Nose
Step 3

Continuing with the Eyes and Nose

The eyes and nose are among the most important features of every replica. Each pair of eyes is individually hand-painted with careful attention to their color, expression, and unique character, helping bring warmth and personality to the piece. Every nose is also sculpted by hand from air-dry clay and painted to reflect your pet's natural shape, color, and markings. Together, these carefully crafted details help make each replica feel uniquely connected to the pet who inspired it.

Step 4 Their Coat
Step 4

Then, Their Coat

To recreate your pet's unique coat, different wool fibers are carefully selected and blended to achieve the right balance of colors and tones. The wool is then added gradually, layer by layer, allowing the markings, textures, and distinctive features of each pet to take shape throughout the process.

Step 5 Finishing Touches
Step 5

Personalized Finishing Touches

Every pet has little details that make them unforgettable. Optional add-ons can be incorporated to celebrate those special touches, whether it's a collar with their name, a favorite toy, a beloved blanket, or other meaningful accessories. Additional display options, such as paws extending beyond the frame or a protective acrylic case, can make your replica even more unique while helping preserve it for years to come. You can even ask to add your pet's real fur or whiskers!

Step 6 Preview & Approval
Step 6

Preview & Approval

Before your replica is shipped, we'll share a preview of the finished piece with you. This is your opportunity to take a close look, ask questions, and let us know if any minor adjustments are needed. I want you to feel confident and excited about the final creation before it begins its journey home.

Caring Instructions

Caring for Your Sculpture

Each Venado de Noche sculpture is handcrafted with care and is intended to be enjoyed as a collectible piece of art. Following these recommendations will help preserve its beauty for years to come.

Display

  • Display your sculpture indoors, away from direct sunlight to help preserve its colors over time.
  • For the best protection, place it inside a display case or behind glass whenever possible.
  • Keep it away from moisture, excessive humidity, and curious paws.

Cleaning

  • If dust accumulates, use a gentle puff of air or a hairdryer on the lowest, coolest setting.
  • Avoid using water, damp cloths, adhesive tape, or cleaning products.
  • If needed, small fibers can be carefully trimmed with fine scissors.

Fur Care

  • If the fur shifts over time, you can gently reposition it using a large felting needle or a clean sewing needle. Work slowly and delicately to avoid damaging the fibers.

Handling

  • Handle your sculpture as little as possible and always with clean, dry hands.
  • Lift it from its base whenever needed, rather than by delicate parts such as the ears, tail, or legs.

Although it may look like your pet, it's not designed to be a toy—for people or for pets!

With proper care, your sculpture will remain a lasting keepsake for many years.

Caring for Your Painting

Each Venado de Noche portrait is painted by hand using professional oil paints on premium canvas. With proper care, it can be enjoyed for generations.

Display

  • Hang your painting indoors, away from direct sunlight to help preserve its colors.
  • Avoid placing it in areas with excessive humidity or drastic temperature changes.
  • Keep a small space between the painting and the wall to allow air circulation.

Cleaning

  • Gently remove dust using a soft, dry microfiber cloth or a clean feather duster.
  • Never use water, cleaning products, or damp cloths on the painted surface.
  • Avoid touching the painted area with your fingers, as natural oils can affect the finish over time.

Preservation

  • Handle the painting by its frame or the edges of the canvas whenever possible.
  • If you ever need to transport it, wrap it carefully in protective material and avoid placing pressure on the painted surface.

With proper care, your portrait will remain a timeless tribute to your beloved companion.
